I order from here all the time. You can't go wrong with the Duck Lo Mein, Kung Pao Chicken, and Shrimp Shu Mai. I usually order around 8:45 or 9, and they get to my place within 20 minutes, even when it says it will take 45 minutes. I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing, but it always tastes good and fresh, so I won't complain. Good portions, good food, fast.

Fish was fresh in the sushi, but rolls were loose and poorly formed. Papaya salad was horrendous - swimming in dressing and the papaya was extremely overripe.

hit or miss. Sometimes I am actually sick to my stomach after eating here, sometimes it's decent. Lunch is definitely higher quality than dinner for some reason- would never order raw fish here again but the soups and veggie entres are fine

Delivery was timely but the food was not good. I ordered their pad thai and was surprised how different it looked from pad thai. It had this bright redish sauce, so strange and not very appetizing. I also ordered their vegetarian hot and sour soup and spicy roll combo which were also not very good. I would not recommend ordering from here.

The delivery man left me waiting an extra hour to deliver my food. Showed up at my door with a really nasty, rude, poor attitude and unfortunately after all that the servings were the size of a pea and tasted horrendously terrible.

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL. dont order the rock shrimp - it is $10.50 for two larger shrimp cut into about 8 tiny pieces - and it tastes like it was dipped in sewer water - it is NOT tempura, it is full fried. The General Tso's chicken is terrible. Not sure how this place got good reviews. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE - this is disgusting food.

The green curry is colored green with food coloring. I have never seen anything like this in my life. And it took over an hour to get to me, and it takes like nothing. Do not recommend- although I've seen decent chinese fast food come from here- Avoid anything Thai-like.

Ordered b/c Seamless rating was 5 stars; apparently this is meaningless. The pineapple fried rice literally smelled like the floor of a movie theater. I took one bite and spit it out. My wife somehow ate half and then gave up, worried she would become ill (prior to my taking one bite and spitting it out). The cold sesame noodles appeared to be store-bought green linguine with some kind of bottled peanut sauce squirted on top. The thick slices of nearly over-ripe cucumber were a scant saving grace. The moo-shu chicken, least offensive, seemed like a rough approximation of moo-shu, such as might be made in a junior high home economics class in the early to mid 1980s - which is to say, it didn't seem poisonous, but it was similar to actual moo-shu in superficial appearance only. By the way, the order took about 1/2 longer than the max time it said online that it would take. I think Seamless' review system is somehow flawed if the average is 5 stars; the restaurants must be bribing someone. It is definitely a Seam.

How does this place have a 5-star rating when I see mostly 1-star reviews? Ordered at 8:15pm, got the confirmation soon after saying 45-60 minutes. Around 9:30 I started calling but their phone rang and rang and Seamless said the restaurant had closed. So we ordered from somewhere else, got the food, and ate. At 10:45 (that's 2.5 hours after we ordered and after the restaurant had closed), they tried to deliver this. The delivery guy was surprised when I said I didn't want it, and I had to close the door to get him to leave. They are always late - usually an hour to an hour and a half - but this was ridiculous.

How does this place have such great reviews? I've tried ordering twice -- both times it took an hour and a half, and the food was greasy and mushy and tasteless. It's the worst Asian restaurant downtown.

The so-called "Grand Marnier Prawns" turned out to be a congealed mass of breaded plastic strips drowned in a starchy white sauce that tasted more like wood glue than Grand Marnier. When I called to complain, the restaurant insisted that they made a "correct order", and wouldn't do anything about it.

2X now. Their General Tao's chicken has given me massive stomach issues. I thought the first time was just a fluke. But, ate it again yesterday. Not sure what it's even made out of, but now I have a massive stomach ache. Avoid this dish, if the restaurant at all.

The food arrived ice cold and 100 minutes after the order was placed. I called twice to find out where it was and both times I was told it would be there in 5-10 minutes. When it did arrive it was ice cold. I called to inform them of this and they did not apologize and could have cared less. I will never order from them again.

I just had the Beef with Mixed Vegetables Lunch Special (w/t out broccoli) and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. Decent sushi delivered quickly, but odd flavors in the shrimp tempura roll. The eel sushi roll had tough fibers or bones in it. Stick with standard items like the spicy tuna roll with crunch.

The food was delivered late despite being told it would be there in 10 minutes. Setting false expectations made waiting for the food much worse than if they were honest and told me it would take longer than expected. The food itself was gross. The hot and sour soup was very oily, almost slimy. I also ordered Eggplant in a Spicy Garlic sauce, which was chewy and mediocre at best. They kindly refunded my purchase since I was dissatisfied, so at least they corrected their mistake. I would not order again despite ending up having an OK customer experience because I couldn't eat the food.

WORST. SERVICE. EVER. They took 40 minutes to get here and I specifically selected them because it indicates they would be here between 10-15 minutes. The got my order WRONG. They did apologize, which was nice, but then took 50 minutes to get the right order to me. I called them at the 30 minute mark to say I had to leave and would appreciate a refund, rather than the order. She told me that was impossible and that all they could do is leave the new order at my doorstep? Totally unaccommodating and kept me waiting far too long. When I called to cancel the second order at the 30 minute mark, I was told to wait 2 minutes. I called back 10 minutes later to say I had to leave immediately and was told there is nothing they could do. I would be charged. No food received. And they were less than willing to account for their mistake. NEVER. AGAIN.

Wasn't bad, but definitely not great. The chicken with broccoli sauce had a distinct taste to it that I didn't love. Also, it comes with mushrooms and carrots which was weird. Reviews about the disgruntled delivery man were spot on, but those about orders taking too long to be delivered were incorrect. My food arrived piping hot within 35 minutes - even on a rainy day.

The curry and lunch items were a good deal for the price, but the food showed up 30 minutes late. An entire entree was missing. Our white tuna sashimi was spoiled. When I called to try and fix the order they never picked up the phone. It rang 30+ times over 3 different calls. Order was fixed once I called Seamless customer service.

Took 2 hours to delivery and then they brought us the wrong food. Their phone was off the hook and we could not get through to have them send new food. Apparently the actual restaurant closed and they are sending delivery orders from a new, undisclosed location (sounds kinda gross to me). Ended up settling with Seamless for a refund.

Food is good, but the delivery man rang the doorbell obnoxiously and shouted at me about the tip I gave him (I tipped between 20 and 25%--unsure what he would have wanted instead). I called about this, and the woman on the phone assured me that she would speak to the manager. I like the food and the price, but I probably won't order from here again because of the poor service.

I have not been so disappointed and unsatisfied with a meal in a long time. I think it began when the 30-45 min delivery time was eclipsed and it finally showed up an hour and 20 minutes later. The girl on the phone said they were slammed. I get it. It happens. A call would have been nice, but now I'm starving. Well the food was not fresh, not hot and the chicken had no sauce on it. Maybe it did when it left the restaurant, but it didn't when I got it. The dumplings were fine, nothing special, but the General Tso's chicken was a major disappointment. Order at your own risk.

I ordered the sesame bean curd, edamame, and crystal shrimp dumplings. The bean curd was deliciously prepared, with large firm blocks of tofu seasoned with just the right amount of sauce and green broccoli. The edamame was also good -- some places oversalt, others undersalt, but this was just right, with large, firm beans. I gobbled them up. The crystal shrimp dumpling isn't something I've ever ordered before, so I didn't know what I was getting. It's a transparent white dough dumpling with a shrimp inside. Not really my personal tastes, but folks seem to like them. I just ate the shrimp out of the dough. After having has such a bad experience with the bean curd dishes elsewhere, I was relieved by Friend House's cooking.
Not impressed at all. Our food was very disappointing. Won't go back.

The food from this place is fine, but I have tried them twice because of all the great reviews and both times they have been late and then tried to deliver to the wrong address, both times this has resulted in multiple phone calls and then cold food when it finally does arrive. Terrible. Skimpy portions for way too much money that don't taste good. We got shrimp tempura that was cold and not battered with tempura, essentially hard fried shrimp. Oh yeah, they cut the shrimp into little bites so you can't they're shortchanging you. Crispy beef was not crispy. salmon teriyaki came with congealed teriyaki sauce on the side. Will not go back, cannot understand how they had 5 stars.

The quality of the food was average but I was very disappointed by the service from Friend House. I had just moved to the neighborhood and live around the corner from the resturant. It was over an hour and 1/2 before the food was delivered even though I had been given a window of 30-45 minutes. In that time period I called twice (after 50 minutes and then a 1/2 hour later) and was assured that the food was out for delivery. The second time I called, they first told me they didn't have my order, then it was out for delivery before finally saying it had yet to be made. I was also charged full price when it finally arrived 20 minutes later - if I was not delirious from hunger at that point I would have contested. I will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered my vegetables steamed (dietary restrictions) and they were sauteed heavily in oil. I called to check and ask for steamed ones and they swore that the vegetables were steamed. I'm looking at a pool of oil in the bottom of the container. Sushi was not very fresh also.

The food was actually delicious, as it usually is. However, (and I hope you're reading this, owner/manager), the delivery person was awful. No - he was wretched. He either doesn't know how phone/telecom systems work, or he is willfully stupid. If it's the former, you (owner) need to educate him. If it's the latter, then you (owner) need to fire him. After calls from him through my intercom and calls from his/your cell, he couldn't get in. I tested the system myself, and had successfully received an order from the store not 20 minutes before he arrived, so I am inclined to believe he didn't want to climb the stairs. He was either lazy or incapable. if it's the latter, then you (owner) need to decide if he's uneducated or stupid, and cull as necessary. I intend to order your food again, because it's delicious, but if I have that experience again, I'll stop.

Really good food but your food can be wrong even when ordering online. For example, they constantly send ginger ale instead of seltzer water and make the sushi with seaweed on the outside instead of inside out like i ordered. So, maybe they're a little careless.

I'm not a fan of this place. Both dishes I ordered were bland and tasteless. To add to the issues, this place is not cheap. Pricey, tasteless, and slow? Not a good combination in my opinion. Definitely better options for Chinese food in the city.

The food came quickly, but who knew so much could go so wrong? Raw braised beef is an oxymoron and this stock was so fatty I can hardly call it meat; bones in my sashimi; and then a piece of bell pepper so tough I hurt my tooth. Gross!
